The Technical Secretariat of the RINP, a transnational network for strengthening democracy through political innovation, is practiced. Our role is key in articulating the regional agenda, facilitating the exchange of practices, and tuning collective strategies for advocacy and the defense of democracy in Latin America.
Practice assumed the Technical Secretariat of the RINP, establishing itself as the operational and strategic axis that promoted collaboration among Latin American countries. The work consisted of:\n1. Organizing the 2024 Meeting in Mexico to create a space of strategic alignment among network members.\n2. Facilitating the exchange of practices and methodologies for advocacy.\n3. Managing the network's resources, acting as fiscal sponsors.
The democratic crisis is a regional phenomenon that requires transnational and horizontal networks and strategies. The RINP, through its manifesto, advocates for innovation as a means to provide citizens with tools to build effective counterweights. Our role as Technical Secretariat allows us to mobilize and coordinate this transnational network at a critical moment for democracy in the region.
We consolidated the operation of the RINP by performing its Technical Secretariat, ensuring cohesion and continuity of the network. We successfully organized the 2024 Meeting, strengthening the exchange of knowledge. In addition, we designed work plans and advocacy strategies necessary for network members to act in a coordinated manner against democratic setbacks.
